    Pair or single

Decide if you’d like a pair of curtains or one single curtain. If you’d like a single curtain, choose if it will stack (open) to the left or the right hand side.

    Measurements

Width Enter the total width of your track or pole (excluding decorative finials).

Drop Enter the drop of your curtains, from the eye of your curtain ring or glider to where you want your curtains to finish. (For curtains with an eyelet heading, measure from the top of your pole.)

Are you using a pole or track?

Tell us if you’re using a pole or a track. If you’re using a track, let us know if you’ll be fixing it to the wall or the ceiling so we can make sure your curtains fit perfectly.

All curtains are suitable for poles, but if you’re using a track you won’t be able to opt for an eyelet heading.

    Choose a heading style

Full details on all of our heading options can be found here.

Pencil Pleat Heading Classic, smart and simple, pencil pleats are the most popular choice of curtain heading. They are created by pulling strings on heading tape attached to the back of the curtain until the curtain is the desired width. The look and body of the curtain, how flat or gathered the fabric is, can be adjusted by how tightly the strings are pulled.

Pencil pleats can be used with either tracks or poles.

Eyelet Heading Stylish, modern and unfussy, eyelets are a great choice for an up-to-date look. Our standard eyelet size is 40mm and we offer a range of different colours for the metal rings. This style stacks back fully and neatly so it’s a good choice if you have little space to the side of your window.

Eyelet Curtains are only suitable for use on a pole.

Double Pleat Heading Double pleat curtains are full, smart and elegant. They’re a classic option for curtains and are pleated in a way that allows them to be stacked back neatly. The pleats are created by making folded creases in the stiff buckram that gives the heading its shape. Hooks are inserted directly into the back of the heading.

Double pleats are suitable for both tracks and poles.

Other heading types, such as triple pleat, euro pleat, cottage pleat, tab top & wave are available on request. Please contact us for a quote.

    Choose a lining type

No lining If you’re looking for something light and delicate you might consider unlined curtains. Go for this option if you’re using a lightweight or sheer linen or cotton.

Standard Our standard lining is a pale cotton fabric. It gives some additional weight to your curtains to help them hang well but still allows light to filter through.

Extra thick thermal This is a thick lining, designed to simulate interlining, at a fraction of the cost. The outer side is smooth and the other (on the inside) is woolly. This provides more insulation than cotton lining and allows less light to penetrate without blocking the light completely. Due to its extra weight, it helps your curtains hang well and look fuller.

Lined and interlined If you’re looking for classic, full and hearty curtains with optimum insulation, then choose interlining. A separate layer of natural cotton domette sits between your fabric and the outer lining to help keep your home warm.

    Blackout

All of our lining options are available in blackout to block out absoutely all light – a real must-have for bedrooms! You can read more about blackout lining here.
